The Cato Ridge Freight Terminal offers tailor-made container handling, and packing solutions.
The Terminal provides the container handling infrastructure necessary for the transfer, handling and staging of import and export containers to/from the port of Durban.
Specialising in the containerisation of export cargo in the Cato Ridge area and making use of empty turn-in of unpacked containers, we provide a cost-efficient export solution to what is historically a dead-leg in the supply chain.
The facility can export more than 1,000 containers per month, largely via rail, reducing road traffic and alleviating pressure on Durban’s congested road infrastructure.
