KHOLD’s Maydon Wharf facility is Durban’s premium fruit cold store, with a capacity to store more than 12,000 high cube pallets.

The terminal boasts 8 multi-temperature cold rooms, servicing both cold treatment and commercial markets, as well as a container plug-in yard able to store 133 refrigerated containers.

Conveniently located on the Maydon Wharf quayside, this multi-modal facility handles both breakbulk vessels as well as containers.

Phytosanitary inspection services for fruit and other sensitive cargo are conducted on-site for all global markets such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, China, Japan, India, Russia, the Middle East, and others, ensuring our customers have access to all major export markets.

With the onsite availability of container handling machines and 133 container plug-in points, our customers will benefit from uninterrupted container loading, even when container terminal operations come to a standstill.

Temperature-controlled warehousing as well as general cargo storage solutions – in open or undercover areas – makes us the perfect choice for reefer and dry cargo customers.
